Helping Christian men find their vocation, overcome anxiety, and grow into confident Christ-centered leaders.
Christian Life Coaching Can Help
Clarity.
Confidence.
Peace.
Hi, I’m Matthew, and I walk alongside young men in their 20s and 30s as they seek to build their lives on a Christ-centered foundation.
My approach blends coaching, practical wisdom, and biblical perspective to help men navigate life’s challenges with courage and clarity.
I listen deeply, ask questions, and prompt you to explore insights and possibilities. Every session ends with you deciding on practical steps to move forward in alignment with God’s calling for your life — offering valuable accountability as you put insights into practice.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, faith-centered approach to personal growth, schedule a free discovery call today!
Who is Christian Life Coaching for?
Although life coaching can be beneficial for anyone with a growth mindset, it’s best suited for people who are ready to make a change in their lives, including:
People facing an immediate problem and looking for support in identifying and implementing an action plan. Examples of this include:
Career advancement
Challenging relationships
Finding a spouse
Breaking bad habits
And many other topics
People who feel “stuck” or otherwise dissatisfied with their life and aren’t sure how to move forward. Coaching can help you clarify your current situation and craft a vision for the future.
People who are committed to ongoing growth who want someone to walk alongside them, reveal blindspots, and ensure they are following God’s path — not just their own.

Life coaching is a set of conversation techniques — including active listening, gentle prompts, and open-ended questions — intended to empower people to make meaningful life change.
But it’s not just talking. It’s putting insights into action.
A life coach will partner with you to uncover the direction God wants you to go, and walk alongside you as you respond to his call — offering encouragement, insight, and accountability.

Yes! I am based in Harrisburg, PA and love to meet with people in person.
The majority of my clients, however, meet virtually using Google Meet.
I will provide conferencing information after your sessions are scheduled!
-
All coaching packages include:
Coaching Sessions - 1-hour coaching sessions either in person or over Google Meet/Zoom. The goal of these conversations is to help you consider topics from new angles, leading to insights that you wouldn’t otherwise have had.
Encouragement & Accountability - The greatest benefits of coaching come outside of the sessions, when new awareness is translated into tangible action. Every coaching session, you will identify action items you want to take in light of what we’ve uncovered. I will record these so we can discuss how they went at the following session, and where you would like to go from there.
Email & Text Support (Optional) - As an extension of the encouragement and accountability mentioned above, I am happy to check in via text or email once at the midpoint between sessions. This is usually both a general check-in on the week and a specific follow-up on the action items you identified in the previous check-in. This is optional and only available if it would be helpful to you.
Ultimately, the expectation is that by the end of our agreement you will have made meaningful progress toward the life God is calling you to.

Coaching and therapy/counseling look similar, but there are some notable differences.
First, unlike much therapy or counseling (both of which have their place), coaching is intended to be very practical and forward-facing.
While coaching often includes discussion of people’s personal histories or mental/emotional life, it’s always to support the achievement of current day goals — what next steps can be taken in light of this reflection that will move your life in the right direction?
Additionally, coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders and is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment. Coaching is less about treatment and more about growth.
-
Coaching packages start at $50/session for a minimum of 5 sessions.
One-time sessions are available for $75/session.
Payment are processed easily through the online scheduler above!

Because life coaching is not medical treatment, it is not covered by health insurance.
On the one hand, this is unfortunate because it does make coaching less affordable.
However, in my experience, the monetary investment clients make in coaching can really motivate them to get the most out of it.
As the saying goes, it gives you “skin in the game” and supports the right mindset for getting the most out of coaching.
For example, if you sign on for a 10-session package, that will take 2.5 months meeting once per week and cost $500.
Think about the amount of growth you could see in 2.5 months. That can seriously be enough to kickstart your life in a whole new direction. Is that worth it to you?
I think it should be, and my clients agree.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wesleyan University, and I’ve completed coach training with Creative Results Management. I am currently finishing my International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification. Before focusing on life coaching, I spent five years in the professional world, including serving as a coach for a team of 15 people, which helped me develop skills in listening, mentoring, and guiding others toward meaningful growth.

A huge part of any helping professional relationship (e.g. life coaching, counseling, therapy) is the professional’s worldview.
Although I will happily work with both Christian and non-Christian clients, my faith shapes every aspect of me.
When working with Christian clients, I openly invite the Holy Spirit to join our conversation and pray that he will speak to us — to you through new awareness, to me through questions to ask. I will also commonly invite clients to consider challenges from a spiritual perspective or ask what you think God is saying to you in this time.
For non-Christian clients, I won’t openly invoke my faith in this way, but I will inevitably be praying for you both during and between sessions for your personal growth and well-being.
